Cookies
Cookies are data that a web site transfers to an individual’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies, which are industry standard and are used by most Web sites, including those operated by us, can facilitate a user’s ongoing access to and use of a site. They allow us to customise the web site to your needs. If you do not want information collected through the use of Cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to deny or accept the Cookie feature. But you should note that Cookies may be necessary to provide you with some features of our on-line services.
Like many web site operators, we also measure and analyse the internet usage across our web sites. We collect the following core information on the usage of our web sites, including:
· The number of page views (or page impressions) that occur on our web sites;
· The number of unique browsers to our web sites;
· How long these unique browsers (on average) spend on our web sites when they do visit; and
· Common entry and exit points into our web sites.
All pages on our web sites are coded. This is transparent to the user as the software makes use of an invisible image (via Javascript) or an invisible Java Applet, at the bottom of the web page. This software stores a “cookie” in the browser, which contains a unique identifier. This enables us to track the number of unique browsers to our web sites. This information is collected and aggregated, and in no way does this unique identifier identify a user personally. We do not and will not marry any data collected with any personal information collected on our web sites.

De-Listing Courses
It is free to set up an account to promote your courses across the Courses Directory Network. Once you have set up your account you will be issued an auto generated Username and Password. You’re Username and Password allows you to view, update and modify all of your Organisational and Course details. If you wish to de-list your courses after a period of time you need to make this request via email to info @coursesdirectory.com.au. Once we receive your request we will send a final invoice for total clicks, views and enquiries supplied to your Organisation over the period that your courses were listed. The cost of the clicks, views and enquiries will be at current market rates (usually measured against comparable Google current pricing). Once the final invoice has been settled, your courses will be removed from all sites across the network by our administration staff. Please note: De-listing Courses may take up to 72 hours to take effect across all sister and satellite sites within the network.
Clicks, Views and Student Enrolment Enquiries
All clicks, views and student enrolment enquiries are supplied free to annual members. All clicks, views and the first 5 Student Enrolment Enquiries are supplied free of charge to all other casual providers. Additional Student Enrolment Enquiries - beyond the initial first 5 free - are invoiced to casual providers at the 'casual' pay per lead rate as documented in the Courses Directory Media Kit (and throughout the sites from time to time). An invoice for Student Enrolment Enquiries will only be generated if the casual provider has been notified multiple times over a 'reasonable' period. No invoice will be generated for Student Enrolment Enquiries that are rejected, returned or refused by the casual provider within a reasonable period of time (so as to be re-distributed) from date of issue.

Advertising prices may vary from time to time, the examples we use in the Advertising Comparison Chart (as included on various promotional material) is accurate as of 26th October 2011. The actual Pay Per Click cost for Google (AdWords) and Facebook ranged from $1.96 - $14.50 so the figures used for calculation were a conservative estimate on the low end of the range. Enrolments based an estimated ratio of conversion, dependent on the targeted nature of the advertising was assumed as 10:1 ratio for Courses Directory, 10:1 ratio for Google, 15:1 ratio for Facebook, 30:1 ratio for both local and daily papers. The Local Paper advertising rates are from Victoria and are based on a 13 week campaign costing a total of $4,845 for an ad with full colour, sized 6cm x 2 columns, reaching 245,000 readers each week. The daily paper advertising rates are from the Herald Sun and are based on a 13 day campaign costing a total of $11,475 for an ad with full colour, sized 6cm x 2 columns, reaching 503,500 readers each day.
