Description
This qualification forms part of the Music Training Package. It is for people who want to perform and compose music at a professional level. You will learn how to compose original music, teach instruments and voice, and lead music rehearsals and performances. You can also choose to develop a range of music business and/or music technology skills.

Subjects
Group A: Address copyright requirements; Follow health, safety and security procedures in the music industry. Group B: Arrange music for screen; Compose music for screen; Create original music; Develop self as artist; Direct music in a performance; Interpret, confirm and create music for a brief; Prepare for and lead a music rehearsal; Provide instrumental/vocal tuition; Provide tuition for composition; Refine performance technique and expand repertoire; Use private practice to refine performance technique.

Entry Requirements
Selection is by audition - interview and theory test. Some providers also require year 12 or mature age entry.
