Outline

The REIQ is the peak professional body for real estate in Queensland and is pleased to offer these introductory sessions at no cost to those individuals who are contemplating a career in the industry.
The program is designed to provide information about how the industry operates in order to allow attendees to make informed decisions about career choices.

These short programs cover the following topics:
• How the real estate industry in Queensland is structured;
• Ethics and conduct;
• Career options;
• Basic rules and regulations governing the industry;
• Licensing and registration requirements; and
• Educational options.

Courses

The REIQ is proud to partner with some of the best Australian universities to provide further education opportunities to REIQ members.

GRIFFITH UNIVERSITY
The REIQ's Real Estate Agents's Licensing course provides one subject credit towards the Bachelor of Business in Real Estate and Property Development at Griffith University (Gold Coast and Nathan campuses).

UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN QUEENSLAND
The REIQ's Real Estate Agent's Licensing course provides two subject credits towards a Graduate Certificate in Business at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ). The Graduate Certificate in Business is the entry requirement for the USQ MBA.

Facilities

REIQ courses are available by a range of flexible delivery options, including daytime contact classes, evening classes and distance education (correspondence).

The REIQ offers a range of courses designed to meet the special requirements of various industry sectors.

These non-assessment based courses are an ideal way for individuals to enhance their current skill set, learn best practice systems or explore new strategies for developing their business.

Many of the specialised courses are CPD eligible and also available in-house.

The REIQ student handbook has been designed as a reference source to assist students in understanding how to best utilise our professional development services and answer any questions regarding the REIQ's policies and procedures that govern our training activities.
