Sydney College of Event Management is Australia's first and only vocational education college specialising solely in event management courses.

Our aim is to produce Australia's most sought after, job ready event management graduates.

We live and breathe events. From the first day of your study with us you will be immersed in the world of event management. In theory and practice.

Sydney is the nation's event capital and you will be out there on the streets and in the venues learning through close observation of real world case studies.

We pride ourselves on the high quality of our graduates and we will assist you in reaching the height of your potential during your time with us.

Our class sizes are small which means you benefit from ongoing, direct access to your teachers and a personalised approach to your training which helps you stay focused on your study at the highest possible standard.

Courses

Our fully accredited Diploma of Events (SIT50207) is achieved through accelerated delivery which means you graduate in six months.

The course is run as a 'simulated workplace', an environment that gives you the best chance of being work ready at the completion of your course. Oh, and we also have the prerequisite Certificate III in Events (SIT30607) included in our Diploma package.

You work/study five days a week from 8.30am until 5.00pm. All your work is done during those hours so there's no need to study at night or on weekends as long as you keep up during the week. You can enjoy time with friends and family and even hold down a part-time job on weekends and evenings.

But be prepared to study hard. Accelerated learning means total focus when you are at college. Just as in a real workplace you will be expected to perform.

Our event management course offers far more than hours in the lecture room and time spent in the library.

Our campus is located minutes from Central Railway Station and major bus routes.

Set in the bustling education and fashion precinct of Surry Hills the location is an ideal place to study and hang out with your colleagues and meet other students over lunch or at the end of the day in the many cafes and friendly pubs in the area.
